Why can't I count

So on Monday last week after I emailed you, we had a lesson during Pday time scheduled and that was awesome. We asked Badou if he believed it came from God and he said he wasn't sure about the coffee and tea part. Then we read the scripture and said, "okay it is old Swedish. It is from God. I feel it is from God." Like why is he so good. He has only had like two cups in six days. It is crazy. Then we were knocking apartments and this one guy got mad and said all Christians should be (translated) "sent away." So basically just die. And I kinda just stopped him and asked him if he had read the Book of Mormon. He was like "no because you took out the part about polygamy!" he then rudely shut the door and locked it. I was just like almost laughing. I mean I was sad for him but he is so much more unhappy than I am even if I were wrong. It is just dumb. Then almost perfectly, the next door we knocked was a guy that asked us where in the Bible it talked about the BOM and we showed him and just like that, let us in. He seems super cool. He didn't seem to happy but he did seem happier near the end. We think he may have just broken up with his girlfriend. It is funny how right after we got shut down and our P-day proselyting time was nearly over (Like we could have called it quits close) we knocked that last door and the guy let us in. Always give the Lord your all otherwise you won't get what he has waiting for you at the end.

Next crazy contact. We were following up on some people who told us to come back. We got a call from a bishopric member from some other city a few hours away. He wanted us to help him return his car... We didn't know why but we figured God had some weird plan that we (As usual) didn't understand. So after being with him for like 2 hours he was about to get on a train. I contacted this guy named Magnus with my companion. He was waiting there for two hours for his friend to get out of school. Magnus was also the name of the bishopric member we were with, and they are both from the same city. We talked to Magnus (nonmember) for over an hour! He said, "I wish that we could just sit down and talk sometime for like 3 or 4 hours..." And we were like... "hmm... we could probably maybe talk to you sometime about our religion if you really want..." haha that is not really what we said, but it was just crazy to hear, especially from a Swede. Things are going great!

And then...

So Badou... Next Lesson we have planned with him. He cancels and says he can't make our next two scheduled lessons and to call him tomorrow. So we WERE going to teach him chastity before he cancelled. We called him back and he said, "Sorry, I just got back in contact with this old girl friend so that is why I needed to cancel..." My companion almost threw the phone... But we will talk to him, and he is super sweet. I guess we will see what happens. I love that guy!

Things with Thomas... Good lesson with him. We are really getting to know him really well. He super trusts us. I hope that he can get baptized soon...

Hampus! We got permission from Hampus to ask his dad to let us baptize him! That will be great! I think his dad will say yes because he loves us!

Oh and btw did I mention that I was at my second stake conference with Elder Holland?! HE IS AMAZING. He said it was his favorite stake conference he has been in in Europe I think... IDK he really liked it. and there were some GREAT TALKS. So Elder Holland got up and said something like this, "I have noticed a theme... I am glad because this is what I felt I needed to talk about and the theme emerged..." My companion and I were like: Member missionary work! Sweet here come the referrals. And then he yelled over the pulpit, like Elder Holland does, about the Book of Mormon. So I guess that can tie back to any theme... IT was so amazing. He said, "I can't tell you some of the things I have seen! I am not allowed to!" He basically proved through his talk that the Book of Mormon is true. Ahhh it was just too amazing. My face was melting. Anyways the BOM is definitely true.

I love this church and it is true! Thanks again for all the support.

Love you all!!!
